They still get called a chapter but they are still for all intense and purposes, they are still a Legion. But as for the genetic mutations that happened, specifically to the Salamanders I have no clue.

2022年12月11日 · Hello Brother, all sons of Vulkan will have the gene-seed problem but it is activated by specific radiation from Nocturne and other places so for your successor chapter. they would only go black of skin from a similar radiation. so it is your choice. if they have been near that sort of radiation yet

2021年10月4日 · 3rd, their “added” beneficial genes seem to be specifically tied to Nocturne and it’s sun’s radiation, which gives them their onyx skin, glowing red eyes, and thermal vision. (There’s a Salamander that easily “sees” a RG SM while he’s actively sneaky-beaky Sneaking, which freaks out the RG.)

Salamander’s have a mutated organ, which never loses this tanning effect, meaning they get darker and darker from background radiation and their eyes glow red. Nocturne is pretty violent radiation wise, so aspirants go onyx black very quickly.

The salamanders and all the other thousand chapters each send hundreds of zygote samples to Mars, and when it’s time to make a new chapter the gene labs duplicate some of those.

Officially, no one knows. As the lore stands, there are no current known successor chapters to the Salamanders, although the Black Dragons and Storm Giants are suspected to be.
