2014年12月30日 · The English majors would have a harder time with the slider puzzle than the Math majors because of this. English majors look at the puzzle as a whole ("holy crap this is confusing!") and Math majors look at the individual parts ("how to I move X piece here?"). So I can understand why some people really have a hard time with these.

2022年3月11日 · I remember using (and then loosing track of as I migrated PCs) a tool that would brute-force solve "sliding block puzzles" you inputted - as in puzzles in the style of Klotski or the style generally found in the Professor Layton series of games - not the 15 or 8 sliding puzzle, which is what most of my google attempts are returning.

2023年4月1日 · This points in the general direction of solving the puzzle: finish the uppermost row and leftmost column first on a piece-by-piece basis, which would allow you to reduce the size of the puzzle from 4x4 to 3x3. Do the same with the 3x3 area and reduce it to 2x2, where the final solution is trivial and left as an exercise to the reader.

2023年7月23日 · Should take like 15-30 minutes, this solution works for every slide puzzle that exists period. Solve every row 1 at a time to only 2 are left then solve columns until 5 pieces or less remain and they slide into place relatively easy.
