Taynuilt (Scots: [ˈtəinəlt]; Scottish Gaelic: Taigh an Uillt [ˈt̪ʰɤj ən̪ˠ ˈɯiʎtʲ], meaning 'the House by the Stream') is a large village in Argyll and Bute, Scotland located at the western entrance to the narrow Pass of Brander.

The village of Taynuilt has a golf course, tennis courts and an excellent tea-room. There are many walking and cycling trails especially in and around Fearnoch Forest, and the Nant Glen National Nature Reserve with lovely marked walks.

Taynuilt lies near to the south shore of Loch Etive where the A85 to Oban descends west from the Pass of Brander. The bulk of the village lies to the north of the main road, and for most people Taynuilt is represented by a glimpse of the Taynuilt Hotel, now a guest house, as they drive past.

Taynuilt is a village in Argyll and Bute in the Highlands of Scotland. It's on the south shore of Loch Etive, at a point where the loch is pinched, so for centuries it was a ferry crossing. The ferry closed in 1966 when Connel Bridge downstream became the main route north.
