On systems with ducted returns the pressure loss associated with the return air path will cause a lower pressure at the barometric relief damper, resulting in less air being exhausted from the building.

2015年11月20日 · The exhaust from AHU1 blows straight at the barometric exhaust relief damper on AHU2. This holds the damper closed since it is designed to open by building pressure alone. Since that damper isn't opening, it blows* open the doors of the gym enough to increase the pressure in the main part of the building.
