2020年10月11日 · I have a Baume & Mercier men's watch that I inherited from my father. I got tired of paying $90 or so every time it needs a new battery so I purchased a Horotec MSA 07.320 mini press. I have two dies, one is w No. 2 - 30mm and a No. 3 - 34mm. It seems like the No. 2 fits the back properly, but I'm unable to open the watch.

2014年11月2日 · Hello, everyone. I'm trying to identify the model and circa date of this watch. Its a Baume & Mercier in an 18k yellow case. The watch has seventeen jewels. The back of the case has the number 3917 on it. Inside the case has the hammerhead mark with the number 210, the Helvetia hallmark with "C" underneath, 0.750-18K, and the number 98672.

2018年2月27日 · Appears to be a snap on or press fit case back. If so you would need to find a blade small enough to enter between the case back and the case, and insert that blade in to open the gap.

2024年10月14日 · I’m thinking that this is an instance of exactly what you describe, only cased by the exporter- Baume & Mercier casing and co-branding these watches for Benson. Looking around online I’ve seen similar watches with only JW Benson on the dial, but a Baume & Mercier branded movement inside. The movement was again by A Schild.

I believe it dates back back to the 1920's. Incredibly it still keeps time. Any help would be appreciated. Sadly my mother and her relatives...

2013年3月21日 · This watch has a nice look, looks to be in very good condition, and the band seems long enough. The Baume and Mercier name helps, even though it is just a generic ebauche movement. 14k versus 18k does not help. When people pay alot for a ladies dress watch without diamonds they usually expect it to be 18k or platinum.
