2019年2月11日 · Found a Delta 22-560 thickness planer for sale on craigslist for $200. It appears to be in great condition. Per the seller, its seen very little use, cuts smooth that sanding is barely needed. Sharp knives, rollers in great shape, brand new belt, and motor is smooth. Just not sure if its worth $200. I've heard some bad things about this model ...

2013年2月25日 · Lorin - neat design. Am curious why there's a gap along the bottom of the hood, between the horizontal "base" of the plywood hood and the ledger support strip attached to the planer. Doesn't that allow chips to spill, and reduce the suction from any vacuum attached to the hood? Please explain. Colin Troon, Scotland

2013年12月8日 · A while back, I bought a delta 22-560 planer that did not include the factory dust collection fitting. This thing, like all planers, shot shavings all over the place and was a top mess-maker in my garage shop. I had seen dust collection solutions on LJs but what I saw seemed complicated, which discouraged me., so I kept putting it off.

2020年12月14日 · I say go for it. It's a good machine. That was my first planer, and I fell pray to the marketing hype of the multiple speed units, sold and bought a 22-565…didn't like it, bought an R4330…didn't like it, bought an R4331…it's fine, but so was the 22-560 I started with! If parts are available and reasonable, I'd definitely do it.

2013年2月17日 · The feed roller was excusable do to it's age but the machine wasn't abused to where the gears would break. When the gears completely break the planer is headed for the trash dump. Also keep in mind the 22-560 has been discontinued so the parts are not made for it …

2016年1月24日 · I was working tonight on planning some boards on my Delta 22-560 tonight and all of a sudden the belt fell off. I opening it up to look and see the pulley is loose. I looked at it closer and see that it is bent and needs to be replaced but can not get it off.

2024年9月18日 · I have a Delta planer #22-560 that seems to have a common problem. The rubber coating of the infeed roller, has a large crack in the rubber coating. I have checked the internet and I can't find the part being available. This problem has been on this site before, with no solution, but those post date back to 2012.

2010年10月28日 · I have s Delta 12 1/2 planer (22-560) that works nicely, but has no real allowance for dust collection. Never used to be a problem, but I have recently started a new basement-bound workshop and dust collection is a bigger priority for all my tools now.
