2004年11月10日 · And redid the rooth canal on tooth #30 and killed the nerve in tooth #31 causing me another root canal. Dentist said he was positive tooth #30 was causing all the problems. Tooth #27 still is bothering me. It's the canine tooth on my right side and now the canine on the left side hurts too. If I tap it, they hurt. I feel the sensation 24-7.

2004年5月30日 · The dentist did the various tests and x-rays etc and concluded that one of them had abscessed and the other wasn't infected but was dying. So he extracted the abscessed tooth and basically said that he didn't want to do anything with the dying tooth and I should just wait and see how it goes.

2009年2月18日 · Tonight I decided to try and cold test it myself. I put a popcicle on the tooth and did not feel anything for around 17 seconds....then I felt a small amount of pain from the cold. I tried it on the healthy whiter tooth and it hurt after about 4 seconds. Does this mean that the other tooth is dying? If so, is there anything I can do to prevent it?

2004年5月30日 · The tooth is literally dead and does not have a sensation. a "dying" tooth probably refers to something in the midst of this process, meaning the pulp and the nerve have been infected beyond their ability to repair themselves but the infection has not reached final stages. I don't understand why your dentist did not treat the other tooth.
