HDMI is the only digital signal among these, hence any of the others would be a better choice to use as an input to a modulator. On top of that, the hdmi is already used for the first TV and hence not available for use with the second.

2017年10月13日 · My thought was this, you can get HD channels over the air on a coax cable, so obviously there is the ability to transmit 720/1080i quality from a coax cable. My thought is some sort of HDMI to RF converter, that basically runs the apple tv video to channel 3 or 4 at all times, on any tv that is tuned to it?

2019年1月28日 · Get an HDMI input selector if you need more HDMI inputs. That will get you an HD picture. Other options won't. You could get an active HDMI to AV converter and connect that to a channel 3 RF modulator but the picture will look pretty bad and the TV has to have an NTSC analog tuner built in.

2015年12月12日 · Anyways, hdmi itself doesn't necessarily buy you anything special other than "1 cord", rgb connections work just as well providing you have good cabling and are not running long distances. Further, hdmi signals need an "hdmi processor / interface"... if you don't have the plug, you ain't going to have the processing.

2017年8月7日 · If your old box was connected with an RF splitter to your 4 TVs with coax cable then connecting an android box that way is going to be more complicated. If the android box has an AV output then you could connect that to a RF modulator and connect that to the splitter.

I would like to have HD to one of the smart TV's however it would be a huge task to remove the ceiling to gain access to the wiring and run a long HD cable to the living room TV.
