2008年4月18日 · The CJ Camper was parked in mid 1996 and has sat since mid 2007. It was driven 15 miles and parked again until I bought it last week. Since then, I have separated the Jeep from the camper. My father is doing some minor repairs to the camper while I am ordering parts for the CJ5 and getting ready to do a full tune-up and go through the brake system.

It's quite similar in concept to what we do for the Element, so you climb up from inside. 2022年5月21日 · Good idea, however, crawling in and out of a pickup camper front bunk is miserable at best, at least for us old folks. However, along that vein, they do make the same configuration using an actual bumper pull camper sans wheels and axles. The one we walked through a few years ago had a slider for the bed which really opened up the interior.

2013年11月7日 · I am assuming some of the shims I've looked at will fit but the interchange books don't go back that far. I'm also guessing the answer to my first question can't be answered until I take it apart, which is why it would be nice to know the compatible shims. The jeep is a stock 1960 CJ5. One last question, did these jeeps originally come with shims?

2017年1月12日 · The CJ-5 in 1969 and 70 only had the option of a camper but no badging, and the Dauntless V6 and 4.88 gears as an option. The Camper Special badges are not from Jeep, they look like late 60's Dodge emblems for the pickup trucks that had Camper Special badges. Even Chevy and Ford had those badges but never Jeep.
