1997 Porsche 993 6MT Targa (black/black) **1-owner** Charlie's Foreign Car are pleased to present this excellent, and fairly rare 911 Targa of which only 4,583 total 993 Targa's were produced for the world, (approximately 567(!) came to North America for the model year 1997) ensuring you won't often see one during your travels.

I have a 1996 993 Targa and the retractable glass roof has locked on the rear right hand side looking from behind. From what I have found out the drive cable (s ) have jammed and so I am after any information on the process on how to replace them. I do have a very good description on the working parts from a 2009 posting on the net.

2011年1月8日 · Bill, what Porsche option wheel rim came 8" wide on the front of a 993? The Porsche plus 1 "optional" wheels on my 993 are 7" and 9" x 17, both ET55. The PO had 8 and 10 x 18s on the car and the front left a faint tire mark on the wheelwell.

2007年9月19日 · Nothing wrong with the 993 targa, I like mine. I was actually looking for a 88-89 coupe, but this Targa came up for sale locally, so I took a chance. The big glass roof lets in tons of light, you can drive on the highway with the roof open and its quiet, and its watertight, especially compared to the original style targas.
