2019年8月4日 · It is interesting that the SAAMI pressure limit for .22lr and .22 WMR are the same. You sure wouldn't think so shooting one. The Wrangler certainly gives every impression that it is made better than the HRR. The bore diameter is correct. The cylinder is long enough. There must be other physics involved that Ruger is considering.

2021年6月10日 · Well the jury's in on these .22 lr SA revolvers, & Ruger is the clear winner. This is after a few years of ownership, not just 1st time out comparison. I've always thought the Ruger Wrangler is better built, but the Heritage had the advantage of convertible .22lr / .22 magnum. I've had 2 Heritage Rough riders, traded in one on another gun.

However, I realized that practicing with .357 MAG ammo will get expensive quickly. Should I buy a cheaper Ruger Wrangler .22LR for practice, or consider a different model?

2022年9月5日 · If possible save for a Single Six. I bought a Wrangler and it's decent. A year later I picked up a Bisley Single Six with 6.5" barrel and let's just say the Wrangler hasn't gotten a range trip since. Far superior quality and something worth passing down. My Wrangler can be passed down as an effective tool. My Bisley will be an heirloom.

I try to do very thorough research when thinking about purchasing a new firearm. I looked at the Ruger Wrangler because I wanted something like the Super Six, but not as expensive. 2023年6月12日 · Odds of a magnum cylinder fitting a Wrangler are not good. You need to buy a Super Wrangler, they come with both. I don't think you can buy a 22 magnum cylinder from Ruger directly. They would want the gun sent in for service fitting, and would not fit a magnum to a regular Wrangler.

2021年8月8日 · On any NM Ruger SA revolver (including the Wrangler), when you cock the hammer very slowly, you should only hear two clicks; the second click is when the sear drops into the cocked notch AND the cylinder bolt drops into the notch in the cylinder.
