I have been asked by a client to assist them in setting up their PLM system with Solidworks 2016. They have pre chosen the PLM system, ARAS, www.aras.com. This system cannot deal with one of Solidworks greatest features, namely configurations. It requires every configuration to be dealt with as a seperate model entity.
