Stanford Hall is Grade 1 listed, built in 1697 in the reign of William & Mary and situated between the borders of the counties of Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire in the heart of England. The Hall is surrounded by 700 acres of private park and woodland.

Stanford Hall is brilliantly located right in the heart of England, with access to all train lines, motorways and airports (50 minutes from Euston, 1 hour from the base of the M1 and 35 minutes from Birmingham International Airport).

There are 5 bedrooms in the Hall and 10 in the Georgian Stables Courtyard (available to hire). We can offer you 3 dining room options, seating up to 12 in the Red dining room, 24 in the Green and up to 80 in the Ballroom.

The surrounding ancient parkland with two beautiful lakes, is alive with nature and wildlife and presents majestic oak tree lined avenues which radiate out from the Hall into 700 acres of private park and estate.

The Pilcher Aviation display is situated in the Stable Courtyard. It’s principal exhibit is a working replica of ‘The Hawk’, the Flying Machine in which Lieutenant Percy Pilcher, RN, who is recognised as England’s Pioneer Aviator, was killed at Stanford in 1899.He flew successfully for four years before his death. The old Roman road from Northampton to Leicester bisects the land just above this ancient settlement. The second is the site of the medieval village of Stanford-on-Avon that extends to the north east and south west from the current village.
