2015年3月14日 · Dedicated to the musician Viktor Tsoi and his band Kino, the wall has become an alternative landmark in Moscow, particularly for bohemian travellers, who not only share their views and feelings on the wall, but also sometimes leave a broken lighted cigarette in the special ash plate provided.

Found in a corner street along Arbat, the graffiti-filled wall symbolizes freedom as advocated by Tsoi. Here one is free to write and the corner is commonly used by street performers as singing venue.

The wall consists of concrete slabs that once surrounded the construction site of the Palace of the Republic. In 1990, after the death of the lead singer of the Kino group, rock musician Viktor Tsoi, his fans painted the slabs with quotes from songs and declarations of love.
