2021年1月25日 · The reason I am asking this is I tried to follow your tutorial with my ISP's default modemrouter + a Asus RT-AC66U as a VPN router. I do have a working connection through both (modem) router 1 and (vpn) router 2, but using VPN router wifi I still get my home IP address and 90Mbps speedtest, indicating no VPN is used instead of ~20Mbps.

2017年7月17日 · Other vpn like IPSEC or simple PPTP use other protocols. This is different than a port so you can't just do port forwarding to solve this. The good news is almost all routers have the feature that allows for these vpn protocols to run behind the router. Sometime you must turn the feature on but most times it is just a part of the router.

Which from the sound of it is fine since you're going to use the TPL for VPN and other services anyway. One of the issues you're probably having is the double NAT from 10.x.x.x to 192.x.x.x as this makes VPN's a tad confused.
