I had this recall done on my 2011 ML350 and did the oil cooler seal as well, $2k. The recall however dropped the overall performance, and fuel efficiency. I'm yet to receive the promised $2k and extended warranty from MB for doing the recall which was performed in Jan 2024. I would not do the recall if I had it to do over again.

Heres the story: The Diesel Emissions Modification(AEM) was done May 2023 at the Mercedes dealership. The car has been multiple times in the shop over the check engine light and going into limp mode.

2023年8月16日 · I have a ‘14 ML350 Bluetec since new and its been doing great at 80k miles. 1100km highway range, lots of torque, no issues with reliability. Make sure to check the service history and keep up with regular maintenance.

2020年8月29日 · This is exactly the type of information I was looking for. I have owned a 2006 E320 CDI, 2008 Bluetec, and now a 2006 E350. Unfortunately my time in my diesels were short lived, as a drunk driver totaled my CDI four months into ownership. My Bluetec had the engine oil cooler crack, not the O-rings, but the cooler itself had cracked somehow.
