2017年9月25日 · Those rifle have a 200 yard zero, makes shots out to 300 yards relatively dead on hold with those two flat shooters. My 204 Ruger used to be a 200 yard zero, but started popping groundhogs at 400+ yards with it and needed to dial, so dropped back to 100 yard zero.

2011年11月12日 · 200 yard zero. You'll be 2-3 inches high at 100 with most loads. as said 2.3" Hi at 100 will get you zero at 200 and 9" low at 300 Assuming an approx 2600 FPS muzzle velocity

I'm going to be shooting a 14.5" spikes barrel at ranges to 125 yards and this rifle will be for home defense. I'll be using a vortex uh1. I know most people here were big fans of the 100 yard zero. Does this still hold true or are people changing?

2020年8月11日 · As it is, we ought to have enough velocity to make the lighter, tougher bullets work but we'd also be within a range where the softer 115, 118 grain etc. aren't going to drop too much from our 36 yard zero. The powder I have is H335. I have 4 pounds and I'm not likely to get anything else at this point, especially not CFE223 or 8208XBR.

2014年11月5日 · Since you have 1/4 MOA clicks, and you are 1.77 MOA low at 200yds with a solid 100yd zero, you would need 1.75 MOA to come up to a 200yd zero. 1.75 MOA in .25 MOA clicks = 7 clicks up. If your scope is lower, then you will need more clicks up. For example, a 2.2" scope height will put you at 2 MOA low for 200yds.

The 1.5" high zero at 100 yards means that I can hold centre of mass for most varmints or casual targets to a tad past yards. Raising the crosshairs then works out to about 300 yards. Going further than 300 yards moves one into choosing one …
