2006年4月21日 · Once the emblem is off, use an alcohol bases dubstance to clean the rest of the "tape" off. a product used to get the shipping glue off of cars is amazing for adheisive removal and will not hurt the paint. the product is called Granatize R-4G Pcr (protective cotaing remover) it works wonders on anthing "sticky"

2008年7月3日 · 3M makes this stuff called "emblem tape" or something like that. This is discussed to more length in Dopestar's thread about attaching "V" crests. I once used super-glue to put one on, put that's kinda risky if you screw up or want to remove it. Fortunately I got right the first time and was selling the car.

2022年8月25日 · Hi guys, my 2023 Escalade is all blacked out and I want to remove and paint this emblem or completely remove it for good. Does anybody know if this is on with 3M adhesive and can be easily removed with fishing line or are there pins holding it on? The dealer has no idea.

2011年9月9日 · Cover the backside of the emblem/s with the tape, and press it on FIRMLY. Using a brand new Exacto knife blade, cut the tape into shape, using the side of the emblem (letters) as a guide. Remove the red backing tape, place emblem in desired location, and press firmly.

And I STRONGLY recommend you do mot use the double sided tape he gave you. 3M tape is designed to stick to smooth, solid surfaces, NOT cloth or vinyl. Use the correct 3M trim adhesive.
