2013年3月12日 · Does anyone happen to have a torque specs chart for 125# cast iron flanges or happen to know any info about torquing 125# flanges?? Ive looked everywhere online and no luck :( , im thinking these torque specs would be similar to the 150# class HELP PLEASE !!!

2013年12月8日 · Im saying not to use pre-determined tables with torque values by manufacturers, as real torque values are dependent on a lot of factors (read previous reply), which can never be covered in 1 table. There's not 1 torque value for a B16.5 Cl. 900 NPS 4 flange with a flexitallic SPWND gasket. There are dozens, maybe even hundreds of values.

This type of gasket is suitable for FF (flat face) flange which is 250-500 AARH. For spiral wound gasket, it always use with RF (raised face) flange which is 125-250 AARH.

Then I have an flange specific recomended torques (6"-300 series, 8"-300 series etx) from my gasket manufacturer (none of these torques will exceed 60 ksi bolt stress, and usually they are fairly close to the 52ksi stress numbers, some closer than others).
