Adam Field Pottery
In 2008 I learned traditional Korean pottery techniques as an apprentice at Ohbuja Onggi in Ipo-ri, Gyeong-Gi Do, South Korea. A family run Onggi studio operated by Korean National Cultural Treasure Kim Il-Maan. During my apprenticeship I learned all steps of the tradition, from hand-processing raw clay to final delivery of wares.

Born and raised in Colorado, Adam earned his BA in art from Fort Lewis College. For two years, he immersed himself in the culturally rich art scene of the San Francisco Bay Area, where he began his full time studio practice.

Adam Field Pottery will provide materials and studio equipment that are essential to the session topic, including clay, glaze, etc. What is a typical schedule for our session? Our session will run from 10 am–5pm every day with an hour lunch.
