If you want to help manage their test, they can invite you to manage their test after they’ve registered it. An adult who holds power of attorney for another adult may create an Ancestry® account on their behalf, register the kit on that account, and manage the test from either account.

If the page displays a DNA ad and your profile is in the top-right corner (which means you’re signed in), your test may not be registered; try registering your kit again. If the page displays a status bar with the word registered highlighted, your test was registered successfully.
