2019年6月4日 · Ball lake lodge was the real deal, we only had plywood floors with a wall tent on top. The cook/eating shack was plywood sides with a tent top due to bears. I think Ball lake employed most of the natives of grassy narrows, men and women. In the camps I worked in I was it. I did everything but the breakfast and evening cooking. Osky

2007年7月3日 · As for Rollo Lake Lodge, it is a total dump set in a swamp. The lake has a few trout and even harder to catch walleye, as well as a few pike. Get ready to share the lake with illegal fishermen who ride in, as well as the private camp owners on adjoining Brett Lake. The fridge doesn't work, the steel boats are rotten and leak.

2010年3月13日 · Trying to find some tips on how to find an old crash site...The accident happened in the Black Sturgeon area of N.Ontario near seagull lake on November 31 of 1956. The Aircraft involved was a B-47 strato jet with the US military. 1 crewman was able to escape the aircraft and parachute to safety 19 miles away near Ray Lake.

2011年7月29日 · I had a chance to walk over to an old Beech 18 sitting at Sawmill Bay, on the south-eastern end of Great Bear Lake. Couldn't find a registration on it, and haven't been able to come up with any details on how it got there. It's got "Great Bear Lodge" titles on either side, which is the fishing lodge that was based at Sawmill bay until roughly 1987.
