Belmont University is a private Christian university in Nashville, Tennessee. Descended from Belmont Women's College, founded in 1890 by schoolteachers Ida Hood and Susan Heron, the institution was incorporated in 1951 as Belmont College. [1] With expansion of programs, it became Belmont University in 1991.

2024年8月29日 · Belmont University occupies a 75-acre campus in southeast Nashville at 16th Avenue South and Wedgewood Avenue. Virtually all traffic skirts the campus and thus allows a quiet, secluded environment. However, the campus is conveniently situated near churches of all faiths, hospitals, restaurants, shopping centers and other universities.
