I have done this using 4Fg black powder and pure lead bullets with some success, The principal problem I encountered was fouling build-up and accuracy drop-off after several shots.

2018年1月29日 · Pretty much anything .22 LR should be fine with standard velocity, unless it was made before 1900 where it may have been black powder, but I'm having trouble finding anything that says .22 LR was originally loaded with black powder. The H&R you have was made after 1900, so you're good to go with SV. I wouldn't shoot anything high or hyper velocity.

2016年2月8日 · Last night I loaded up some test rounds using data from the Lyman manual. I used the COL from the Hornady manual, which is 0.020" shorter than the Lyman data, so I started 0.5gn lower charge than Lyman's. I used Hornady 130 SP pills and H335 powder, since it is what I have, and Lyman listed that powder as being the most accurate in their testing.
