Fuzzy Settles Down is a 1944 American Western film directed by Sam Newfield. Two cowboys, Fuzzy Jones and Billy Carson, catch a pair of bank robbers; and then are endowed with the reward money.

Wishing to settle down, Fuzzy (Al St. John) uses his reward money to buy a newspaper. He then raises money for the new telegraph line. When it is stolen, Barlowe (Charles King) incites the towns people to hang him. But his pal Billy Carson (Buster Crabbe) is at work to clear him.

Crabbe's sidekick in all these range epics was Al 'Fuzzy' St. John, who had become entrenched as a B western sidekick and developed a great screen character named 'Fuzzy Q. Jones'. St. John took center stage in a couple of the entries, FUZZY SETTLES DOWN (PRC, 1944) and HIS BROTHER'S GHOST (PRC, 1945).

With Buster Crabbe, Al St. John, Caroline Burke, John Merton. Escaping from the Marshal, Billy and Fuzzy ride to Laramy only to find it a ghost town. Sykes and his gang have driven people away while they look for the gold mine of a man they have killed.
