Cadaqués (Catalan: [kəðəˈkes]; Spanish: [kaðaˈkes] ⓘ) is a town in the Alt Empordà comarca, in the province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. It is on a bay in the middle of the Cap de Creus peninsula, near Cap de Creus cape, on the Costa Brava of the Mediterranean.

Cadaques is in the province of Girona in Spain's Catalonia region. It is one of Spain's prettiest villages. It has narrow lanes lined with whitewashed houses and sits on a little harbour. There is a little beach and rocky headlands and the village is topped by a very attractive church.

Located in the heart of the Cap de Creus peninsula, Cadaqués is one of the most emblematic towns on the Costa Brava of Girona. Its rocky coastline, crossed by beautiful beaches and secluded coves, constitutes one of its main attractions, as well as the incredible landscape that the Cap de Creus Natural Park offers.

Tiny, hidden bays line the coast around sleepy Cadaques, creating a series of private beaches near the French border. Thanks to their boat-only access, an afternoon of swimming and sunbathing without crowds is as simple as hiring a skiff and cruising the rocky shoreline.

Cadaqués gleams above the cobalt-blue waters of a rocky bay on Catalonia’s most easterly outcrop. This easygoing whitewashed village owes its allure in part to its windswept pebble beaches, meandering lanes, pretty harbour and the wilds of nearby Cap de Creus, but it’s Salvador Dalí who truly gave Cadaqués its sparkle.
