About Us - Central Middle & High School
Welcome to Central Middle and High School. As the oldest accredited high school in Tulsa, Central has a rich heritage of service to the community dating back to 1906. Our graduates are some of Oklahoma's most well-known politicians, businessmen, and civic leaders.

With a professional basketball career spanning 14 years, Tulsa Central graduate John Starks went on to found the John Starks Foundation, providing community programs and financial assistance to high school seniors in the form of academic scholarships.

Central Middle & High School has a wide range of extracurricular activities to choose from to help students make our mission of college and career readiness a reality. By participating in clubs, students learn important communication skills, leadership, and time management.

Central High School's mission is to make the arts a tool for strengthening the character of each of our students. Our students learn from artists-in-residence from the community who provide real-world perspectives, experiences, and expertise in our classrooms.

Central's Alumni. Central High School's alumni have joined together to establish the Tulsa Central High School Foundation, Inc. This organization not only provides awards for outstanding students, but also donates for student performances, travel expenses for student workshops and competitions, and special requests for classroom needs.
