2010年2月27日 · Needless to say, that shop will get all of my business and anyone I can refer. As for prices to rebuild, I can still get a standard TH350 rebuild with shift kit for about $300 there. That's what it cost me to take my buddy's TH350 in 2 years ago. That's carry-in price, of course, and I think it included a rebuilt torque converter, too.

2009年9月14日 · First engine I built for my car was a .030 over 350 with vortec heads upgraded for higher lift and a comp XR270 roller cam. Was about 9:1 compression and I shift around 6,000rpm. Ran 12.7 @ 106 with my skinny buddy driving it (im 400lbs...). Had a edelbrock RPM intake and a 750dp carb for that run. It was all based on a '98 vortec truck long block.

2009年7月2日 · The 327 is a displacement disadvantage over the 350 you already have #2 you will make more compression w/ those heads on the 350 than a flat top 327. It is hard to make compression w/ a 327 due to the short stroke. You'll be around 9.5:1 on a 327 and around 10:1 on a 350 w/ a 64cc head, 20 thou in the hole, and a thinner composite head gasket.
