2011年5月19日 · I took a punt and bought a new copy of parachutes on vinyl a few months ago from a 3rd party seller on amazon, after reading some mediocre reviews mainly about the US capital release I was really pleased with this pressing, Eu/UK pressing costing £11, great quite vinyl and wonderful full sound, quite loud but what indie albums aren't post 1994 ...

2021年3月20日 · I thought I was getting this release: Coldplay - Parachutes . This has the same matrixes as the original 2000 pressing (A-1-1 / B-1-1). Sound-wise, the 4A/3B sounds pretty good. I'm just left wondering if the B&N or original is any better...

2024年6月17日 · Coldplay is racking up records for charting #1 albums. The GMA host said that's getting up there with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin. But racking up #1 albums in this day and age, in no way means that Coldplay are as good as those bands.
Issue on Coldplay's "Parachutes" on vinyl. Can anybody confirm this?
2011年4月12日 · The reason I'm asking is because it's not the first time I've heard issues with Coldplay's albums. Another example is on X&Y's "What If" when the singer gets to "...could put right" at 1:08 where the vocal track clearly clips. Both vinyl transfers and CDs exhibit this problem.

2024年6月17日 · I love parachutes and a rush of blood to the head, and this to me is peak Coldplay. That said, I have never heard eco vinyl that sounds as good as virgin vinyl. A case in point, the new Billie Eilish is a great album that sounds like crap on the eco vinyl.

2014年8月6日 · The album won a Grammy for best soundtrack and the music selection is phenomenal. I can sum up the vinyl/recording quality in one word: exceptional. Audio quality wise the album sounds fantastic. My wife and I A/B'd the Coldplay "Parachutes" vinyl (Don't Panic) and the soundtrack's cut of the same song. There is absolutely no comparison.

2011年5月21日 · Meaning the vinyl would sound somewhat compressed too. The Speakers were ADS L570 two way bookshelf's. At least using these speakers there was not a huge difference. I will say that most MP3s do not sound as good as the turntable. So maybe X&Y did a good job on the CD or possible a less than perfect job on the vinyl. They were close.
