Made a mistake in setup of new computer - Microsoft Community
2020年8月6日 · Hi! I just got a new computer and messed up the setup by using my son's info instead of my own. I want to be the administrator of the accounts on this computer (I'm coming from a Mac so not sure if this means the same thing). I did a shift-restart hoping to reset Windows 10. Was that the right thing to do? I hope it didn't mess up anything!

2023年5月10日 · Yes Windows 11. (BTW I hate it) Had to take it to a computer shop and spend $100 to have them reset without a required login. Not loving windows.. instead of it being helpful and useful, it has become an optical and headache.

2020年7月14日 · There's no particular security or privacy advantage to signing in with a local account (indeed the lack of device encryption is a negative, in my book); but if that's your preference, you can do so when you first set up Windows 10 on a new PC.
