For the newer generation of AMD processors like Phenom, Phenom II, newer Athlons, Semprons and Opterons (K10 architecture and up), and their derivatives, there is a different formula: 'CPU Temp * = Value / 8'.

2003年2月18日 · Core Temp doesn't display VID for my processor. Voltage ID (VID) is not supported on any of Intel's "Core iX" series of processors predating the Sandy Bridge architecture. Core Temp reports incorrect vcore in the VID field. VID is not the same as VCore. VCore is the actual voltage the processor is being fed by the motherboard.

Open the folder where Core Temp is installed, create a 'plugins' folder if it doesn't exist and extract the zip file into a 'CoreTempRemoteServer' folder. Restart Core Temp, go to Tools, Plug-in manager and enable plug-ins. Select the plug-in and click Start, the status should change to 'Started'.
