I know that there are selectors for mythic and legendary crystals vs 6* and 5* shards in side quest, but does anyone know what happened to the shards in general. Kind of a useless shard crystal to have if we wont be able to form any more.

The simple crystal shard crystal costs 10 units and award 200 4* crystals. Why the double priced uncollected crystal shard crystal awards this ridiculous amount? It should at least award the same (despite the fact it has more odds) as the cheaper.

Those shards are some of the least useful resources in the game and Kabam has already said they will never touch what’s in those crystals because too many players have tens of millions of shards and it would mess up ...

I actually don't like this change, hate me but loyalty crystal is something which can keep the community satisfied for few more years. It provides a meaningful and worthy area to spend loyalty on. Obviously everyone loves more free shards but It is fine when loyalty crystals are exclusively purchased by loyalty.
