2009年7月11日 · Although I have never dried currants, I have dried grapes -- I would imagine the technique is similar. The skins need to be "checked": if they're not cracked in some way, the fruit takes *forever* to dry. We blanched ours in boiling water, then put them on dehydrator trays. They made nice raisins.

2005年7月29日 · Fry 1 lg chopt onion, 3T pine nuts, 3T currants (or raisins), & 1T chili flakes in 1/2 c extra virgin olive oil until softened. Add 4 c eggplant in 1/2" dice, 2T sugar, 1t cinnamon, 1t unweetened cocoa (I don't like chocolate so I use Postum!.) Stir for awhile, then add 2t fresh or 1/2t dried thyme, 1/4c tomato sauce, 1/3c balsamic vinegar.

2024年12月11日 · The opened plastic bottle has a "best by" date, years old. The stuff is dried out and pretty tasteless. The still sealed glass bottle is dark colored but still typical Karo consistency. I haven't tasted that one. I found a stash of unopened boxes of cocoa powder too.

2010年6月20日 · That is an excellent way to utilize the dried leaves. The length of the process allows them to break down into the oil, releasing the Allontoin. Using dried leaves to make salve with, couldn't be done in 24 hours to get the same medicinal effects as using fresh leaves.

2014年11月20日 · I have a similar issue. A few of our floor boards in my coop dried to inch wide gaps and I lose all our wood chips out the gaps. Now Im stuck putting hay down and it's not as good as deep chips. I'm wondering the same thing. I need something that will harden more than foam stuff. Almost thinking about putting concrete into the cracks. Hmm.

2007年2月20日 · Keep in mind that I have a sawmill and I have Alot of lumber already dried to build boxes or something else if someone has a better Idea to keep the corn in. I just want to set-up so I don't have to do alot of corn moving by hand---that is why I was thinking of using the wooden boxes with the front-end loader. Thanks!! Randy
