2014年1月14日 · Your original wiring would have worked like this: 1. Yellow is battery power to the switch. Should go to the "B" for Battery terminal. 2. Original Accessory wire to the center stud would have been Black w/green. Is there a wire matching that description anywhere around? 3. Red w/green and Green w/red share the "I" for Ignition terminal.

2021年7月18日 · The Blue wire should be ignition switched power to the module and the Red w/blue stripe wire is the START signal to the module. You can verify this with a quick electrical test (once you have your ignition switch wired in that is). Look at that Red wire in the first pic with the rectangular 3-wire gray connector.

I'm sure there is a time and a place where those location diagrams are super helpful. But I'd like to see the associated wiring schematic along with the detailed location diagrams.

2018年5月25日 · There are plenty of original Bronco switches that have failed to keep power in the START mode, but were never noted until tested, because the 12v booster setup of the "I" wire from the starter relay will mask that failure. A properly working switch however should have power to the coil (and ignition module if electronic) in both RUN and START.

I also have a wire spliced in to the green/red 904 available to power the batt side of the HEI (as an alternative).

2018年7月15日 · Trying to wire in a relay for the sniper pink wire to switch on the ECU. The positive side of the coil does have constant power with the key in the run position. The engine does turn over and start fine since I have wired in a separate switch for the sniper pink wire directly to the battery. Just trying to understand this 1967 wiring setup.

2021年3月31日 · OK, so the starter is not cranking. That really doesn’t have anything to do with the ignition coil or ballast resistor. Those are just for getting the ignition system working properly. The lack of cranking is either something wrong with the ignition switch, the purple wire, the starter relay (solenoid), or starter, or starter cables.
