Due to the size of the Edgar Allan Poe House & Museum, reservations are required. Tours are available Wednesday – Sunday, between 11am-4pm.

2024年11月25日 · Timed entry for the Edgar Allan Poe House & Museum. Reservation duration is 45 minutes. Each ticket admits one person. NOTE FOR VISITORS BEFORE BOOKING: Poe House may not be suitable for all guests; there are no public restrooms nor is the site ADA accessible. The house has no elevator, and the stairs are very steep.
Group Virtual Tours - Poe Baltimore
Your group can join us for a live virtual tour of the historic Edgar Allan Poe House & Museum, led by a real museum docent. In addition to tours for educators and students, we welcome other group leaders (clubs, senior groups, private groups) to book virtual tours.
What To Know Before You Go - Poe Baltimore
The Edgar Allan Poe house is on the right, north of Lexington Street. Dining in the Area: Zella’s Pizzeria at Hollins Market is open for lunch and dinner. If you visit on a Saturday, we suggest you stop by the Lexington Market after visiting Poe’s grave.
About Poe Baltimore
In a tiny brick house on Baltimore’s North Amity Street in 1833-1835 Edgar Allan Poe wrote some of the early stories that would make him the father of the modern short story, and create and define the modern genres of mystery, horror and science fiction.

Saturday Visiter Awards International Edgar Allan Poe Festival
The awards are presented every October at the annual International Edgar Allan Poe Festival & Awards in Baltimore, Maryland. Additionally, important “Poe Places” such as the Poe Museum, Poe Cottage, and Poe House will highlight exceptional entries specific to their region.
