2024年2月7日 · Not really. Rebirth isn't DLC for Remake, it's a separate game. So just like all other separate games, it has its own porting process, its own playtesting, QA, scheduling, budgeting, marketing, and release planning. With the PC version of FF16 apparently imminent, why would S-E rush Rebirth PC out the door?
do we have any guesses as to when FF7 Rebirth is comeing to PC?
As much as I want them to release the ff7 Rebirth PC port (Steam) asap, they won’t do it until they’ve milked enough sales from the PS5. Expect a year to 18 months when sales for the PS5 have significantly dipped. I’m waiting for the PC port because I want to stay on one platform and don’t want to double dip.

One doesn't immediately impact the other. That said, we have confirmation FF16 is coming to PC "soon", while we have no confirmation that Rebirth's PC version is even under development. If Remake's path to the PC was any indication, the dev team is worried more about the PS5 Pro than they are the PC version.

The scale of Rebirth compared to Remake is quite large, even though reusing assets must help with porting time. There’s a quote from one the development team for Rebirth that making the game for one platform meant they could release the game a lot sooner than if they had made the game for more platforms.
Anyone else sad about FF7 Rebirth not hitting PC day 1?
2023年1月10日 · FF7 Rebirth and XVI are both gonna come on PC, but later cause Square is too comfortable trying to milk money out of all of us unfortunately. But if people doubt I can assure you they'll come on PC for the same reason they are exclusive at launch, cause they want the maximum amount of money they can get.

2021年12月23日 · PS5 to relax and replay chapters, PC to relax and play with mods. On ps5 I use graphics mode because the game is just so pretty, i'll sacrifice frames that I don't even notice losing. I do prefer playing games from my bed, so PS5 wins there. The pc stuttering hasn't impeded on my enjoyment of the game, it is noticeable, but not game breaking ...
What are the chances of FFVII Rebirth coming to PC as well?
2022年7月21日 · Playstation has at least a 1 year exclusivity on the games. But most likely they will come to PC. Playstation likes its games on PC because it does get people to buy their consoles so they dont have to wait. A ton of people double dip on their games. We will likely see 16 come to PC probably a little after the PS5 version has its DLC released.

2023年9月7日 · Final fantasy is a flagship for square Enix, and they have exclusivity deals with Sony. My guess is rebirth will drop on PC either around the time it gets a DLC or a year or two after the DLC. It took a few years for remake to drop on PC.

2023年10月6日 · As far as FF7 Rebirth, the only specs we have is the PS5 since it's a timed exclusive, we might not know until maybe 6-12 months after the PS5 version releases but I'm gonna assume it'll be about the same or just a bit higher than the recommended specs for FF7 Remake currently.
