Fall Creek Reservoir is a prime recreation area surrounded by day-use parks and a primitive campground. Together these six parks comprise Fall Creek State Recreation Area. Winberry, Free Meadow, Lakeside 1 & 2. Season: May 1 - Sep. 30

Silver Falls State Park is the kind of standout scenic treasure that puts Oregon firmly onto the national—and international—stage. Its beauty, boundless recreational opportunities and historic presence keep it there.

Munson Creek Falls tumbles 319' over several tiers, making it the tallest waterfall in the Coast Range. A short trail winds along Munson Creek through an old-growth forest to a viewpoint of the waterfall. The ¼ mile trail is accessible for all ages and every level of hiking enthusiast.

We also have two group RV areas at Champoeg and Fisherman's Point (in Fall Creek State Recreation Area). These sites have large, open space with electrical hookups, picnic tables, fire pits, and nearby water and restrooms.

Zooming eastbound down Interstate 84, you might very well miss this tiny park. Nestled at the base of the sheer walls of the Columbia Gorge, the park’s namesake Starvation Creek Waterfall is just over a boardwalk, 50 feet from the parking area. Picnic tables feature views of the falls.

Sailboats, water skiers, anglers, paddlers and rowers take advantage of the full lake levels maintained year round. Oregon Association of Rowers and the University of Oregon have boathouses at the park, and host Regattas (rowing races) each spring. If you're looking for a bit more speed, check out the drag boat races at the park each summer!
