Fibrin « on: December 21, 2006, 07:22:00 AM » Saw some cotton wool type stuff in my cycler drain bag this morning for the first time, I believe it's called 'Fibrin'.

2007年7月22日 · I seem to have fibrin appear every other week and it takes 1-2 nights of adding Heparin to get rid of it. I used to see it in the bag when I did manual bags. On the cycler though, I never see it in the bag. I'll have a low UV night and later in the day I'll get an accumulation of white chunks in my tube. Kind of gross.

2013年2月1日 · This is safer and easier, albeit very heavy to move. I just throw the bag away when it is empty. No fuss, no smell, no cleaning. My PD clinic also had suggested a gas can, but there is really no need. Also, the yellow color is somehow reassuring. I know it is taking out toxins. 2006年10月20日 · The original plan was to keep Ian on haemo for 3 months then put in a new PD catheter. Because of the problem with the Tessio cath, they decided to put in a new PD cath two weeks ago and today was the first time it had been used, so this is a completely new cath. Ian's been on PD dialysis with only two haemo breaks in nearly 5 years.
