2020年1月25日 · Hi Stimk, the XP GNS's are now invoked using the Avionics switches on the panel. They no longer use the unit on/off button. If it isn't coming on once the two switches are flipped on, turn off (remove) any non-XP native plugins and try again. If this doesn't work then I suggest you delete your "XP" preferences to see if this works.

2017年10月1日 · The Obstacles and Terrain data are advisory only, and not necessary, although nice to have. I update the NAV data every cycle to stay current for IFR, and update the obstacles and terrain every year or so. Garmin still provides NAV data for the GNS-430W. Is the GNS-430 (non-WAAS) treated differently?

2020年9月28日 · My club has planes with both 430 and 650's Really like the 650's a lot better. In addition to everything else that's been said, the graphics are a lot, lot better. The 430 I had to study up on how to use. The 650 is just intuitive.

2023年5月30日 · Here's an update. I now have the FlightSimBuilder GNS 530/430 and it works great. I also have the RealityXP updated GNS 530 and I'm pretty happy with it. The only issue I had was I still had the bezel on the FSB unit, but just the other day I found the fix for that.
