2020年10月13日 · A beefier VRM complex (better heatsink design, better power phase design and components) will regulate that heat more effectively, dispersing it away from the motherboard and lower the VRM temperatures.

2020年6月17日 · B550M steel legend has a better vrm and better vrm heatsinking with the IO sheild integrated. Unless your trying to OC a 3900x/3950x the better VRM on the steel legend wont matter. Reply reply

2019年12月24日 · It'll be some hunk of metal that blocks airflow and doesn't have any proper fins or surface area. They should get a company to design those for them so they can stick real VRM heatsinks on their boards, and not some long brick that just acts as a time buffer.

2020年10月15日 · If it's a downward blasting air cooler it should provide cooling over the VRM heatsink. This person is also adding some small heatsinks to their VRM so take a look at that for ideas.

2020年12月25日 · At stock settings I don't see any reason why this B550 board would throttle due to overheating VRMs with a 6 core CPU. If you were overclocking that's a different story but even with low airflow over the heatsinks, from the 'silent' fan curves, I think you'll be fine.
