2022年12月14日 · Used personal care items are not accepted at Goodwill. This includes makeup, lotion, lipstick, and other personal care items. But if you’re donating brand new and sealed versions of personal care items, your local Goodwill may accept them as donations.

Your local Goodwill generally will not accept the items listed below. Furthermore, Federal regulations prohibit us from accepting several items on this list.

Our stores take gently used items in good condition. Donations should be clean, safe and resaleable. Your donations to Goodwill are tax deductible. You can find all donation sites here. Although we hate to turn away donations, there are some items we simply cannot accept. If an item is damaged or we can't sell it, we have to spend money to dispose of it. Money that otherwise could have been used to support local job seekers.

2023年10月16日 · Expired or Opened Food: While food donations are appreciated, Goodwill cannot accept expired or opened food items due to health and safety regulations. Consider donating non-perishable, unopened food items to a local food bank instead.
