2021年7月18日 · I'd say if you haven't watched the UC Gundam then you really can't say you have watched any Gundam - the AU shows really are just using the branding for marketing purposes. I believe the UC 3 movies which is a serviceable compilation is now available on Netflix so I think it's worthwhile investing in that.

G Gundam is generally well received, even amongst the self-proclaimed connoisseurs, but isn't exactly a highlight of any major fandom. Victory gets mixed reception even amongst UC fans. Gundam X is looked upon fondly in hindsight, but again doesn't have a major fandom.

2021年6月19日 · Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans as the story has much of what makes Gundam good but told with more modern anime tropes and character archetypes. It has likeable characters, some interesting politics, and is generally well written. Gundam 0079 movies as this is the original Gundam series, but trimming most of the fat and with slightly nicer animation.

2021年7月10日 · Gundam 0080 -- Just a beautiful, self-contained story. The animation is excellent, and the fight scenes are weighty. I think it's the best, most complete encapsulation of the ideas of Gundam. Also, the Alex is the best Gundam design. Victory Gundam -- It stuck with me in a way none of the other full length UC series did.
