With a herbicide one spends 1/1000th as much; ie 2 cents. Thus for certain weeds with deep bunkers of reserves; the torch is a poor tool and a herbicide vastly less labor.

I opted for the manual start version rather than the push-button ignitor PLUS I had the 20% off coupon so I got if for $15.99 plus tax. I have used it several times and like it much! The 'turbo blast trigger' makes it sound like a jet airplane.

I have zero idea if there's any motor that would work for this application. I have seen new motors at Harbor Freight and at Princess Auto (here in Canada) as well as many used ones online.

I will have the smaller cubic inch M engine on a Super M. Of course, me buying the gas tank means all the propane stuff is coming off. Here's the Ebay motor.

The heat will melt the wax and it should be drawn inside. Then the wax will act as a lubricant. Do it a few times to work the wax deeper and deeper inside.
