Did post flight routine checks & cleaning, then put it on the charger for next time. I ran through my pre-flight today, and hooked everything up... but the drone failed in the vertical geomagnetic orientation process.

2023年1月7日 · The connection speed is much faster that my old tablet, with the delay of the picture feed from the drone being maybe a third of a second, as opposed to the 1 or 2 seconds I was getting. The screen aspect ratio is a bit wider than other 8" tablets I looked at, which makes it good for the Fly app - which was designed for the wide ratio of phones.

2021年1月9日 · The suggestion made by Holy Stone support (USA) was to turn off "Beginner Mode". I never knew this setting existed but when I checked via the Ophelia GO app' I found I was in Beginner Mode - turned it off. I took the drone out today for about 15 minutes and could not force the problem to recur.

I'm also a private pilot. We always use a checklist to prepare for each phase of flight so naturally I was inclined to prepare a checklist for my HS600.

2021年3月7日 · but advertising on the holy stone web site says this model offers 2.5 k can you help explain? Answer: It definitely has the look of 4K although it really doesn’t say. It does require a class 10 or higher micro SD card which tells me 4K. For some reason it limits the size of the card to 32K but that’s plenty for a 25 minute flight.

Just like @Rickoff wrote, I found the serial number on the drone and used it for my FAA registration. Tip: If you're using a smartphone to take a photo of the serial number, most phones now let you select text in images.

2024年10月2日 · I asked Holy Stone support and they confirmed that all of their drones enforce this limit, even though it is legal under Part 107 to fly higher when within 400 feet of a structure.
