Dec 8, 2015 · Unlike leather, vinyl does not absorb liquids, so anything you put on can only prevent air, water and sunshine from touching it. Keep it clean, as dirt may have baddies in it. Keep it out of the sun. Keep it covered in the rain. Rain will creep through the seems, and the material will slowly degrade next to the seems.

I had not thought of that until now! Anyhow the older one is not really a good motorcycle jacket but the wife bought me and her the matching jackets and I love her so I wore it.

Dec 27, 2009 · Just did my 40 year old gaskets. Soak in Gasoline for three days and then go at the edges with a blade, carefully. I found the gasket material stayed together, in larger pieces, and came off, rather than endlessly breaking into little bits. Gas is not recomended for cleaning your bike, but it works, everytime, on everything.

Oct 11, 2024 · Sena and Cardo MIGHT have better wind noise canceling on their mics, I have had a call or two on that cheapo unit come in while I was riding and the person on the other end was clearly getting wind noise from my end, although I also dont use a foam mic cover and wear what I assume is a fairly noisy HJC i90 helm with no chin wind blocker so that isnt helping.

Mar 30, 2016 · I have 2 leather jackets. A Milwaukee Leather on the left I bought at a rally and a Joe Rocket Super Ego on the right. The Milwaukee has the extra leather in all the impact areas. The Rocket one has armor in the elbow and shoulders but only spin padding for the back.

Aug 14, 2014 · I would agree. I was in their store in KC over the weekend and they have some good stuff and some not so good stuff. With leather, always make sure it is not fashion leather. It needs to be thick cowhide to give you any protection. The textile they sell does not state what the fabric is. 600 Denier is a thickness measurement.
