When the microphone is on a small orange or red dot will appear in the island “window” at the top of the screen. If there is no dot the microphone is off.

When I go into settings to turn the microphone on, there aren't any toggles for any apps (under the menu in the Settings app called "Microphone" and on the app's permissions). Not even the names of the apps are listed under the Microphone menu.

2020年9月28日 · Ever since updating my iPhone XR to IOS 14.0.1 the little orange dot signifying that my microphone is on, won’t go off. I’ve tried closing out of all apps, shutting down the phone, turning off the ability to use microphone in all apps but the orange light persists.
