2013年11月7日 · I believe athena makes a gasket kit for the huskys. I've found it easier to buy gaskets through husky dealers. As far as a performance standpoint, I doubt it on the reeds. You might get a bit more top end. However, I liked the adjustability of the vforce 2 system. Having the brackets flipped for more bottom/mid made a decent difference.

2018年4月27日 · hello, jast ran into your old thread posting regarding the debate of the gas tank (IMS 3.1 vs acerbis 4.1) and am in the same boat right now for my 350s. you happy with the acerbis decision? how easy/complicated is it to swap back and forth between stock and Acerbis? in hindsight would you go with the larger acerbis (5.3) or the IMS?

2010年6月14日 · the husky IMHO has a better handling suspension out of the box. engines are both very well built on both bikes from what ive seen. had a whole year on my 144 (125BB), took the bike apart to rebuild the bottom and top end. i could have left the cases together, everything looked great. replaced it all and now i have some spares should i ever need ...

2024年11月22日 · Test rode a Husky 400 WR way back when. Wasn't the bike for me at the time. But its always lurked in the back of my head. Long story short I tracked down a 1986 400 enduro in fair to good condition (American import). Just going through it and tiding it up with the intention of road registered for a bit of greenlane and general hooliganism.

2024年7月17日 · I am dissapointed I never made a video of the installation, but did take a few photos. The entire installation only took me 3 - 4 hours, so there you have it. One happy rider, and an even happier Husky!! I have inserted a few pics, some mine, some others from Cafe Husky members(I hope they are cool with it).

2008年11月6日 · I have two Husky 430's with the 38mm Mikuni like yours. The Keinin measurements are OD on intake manifold end = 45mm; OD on airbox side = 63mm; overall width from intake side to airbox side = 90mm. I was too lazy to take one of the Mikuni's off and measure it for comparison.

2016年9月12日 · The oem 13/50 is too tall for my taste in the open desert and Baja, so I went to my trusty web site, Gearing Commander. No Husky 501 FE, so I entered the info and within a week they checked my info and emailed me to let me the bike was verified and added to the data base. If you have never visited this site, it is a really good tool.

2016年11月22日 · When I was growing up my dad always talked about how good the old Husky's were. A few years ago I was looking on craigslist and found this bike. $500 dollars later I was the proud owner of a pretty rough non running 1983 WR 250. The bike was pretty complete so it was a good starting point. After a year of working on it, it was finally "finished"
