Inishbofin Island is situated 8 kilometers from the mainland, off the coast of Connemara, in the west of County Galway, Ireland. You can’t drive onto Inishbofin and the daily ferry only takes passengers.

Bikes are available for hire at the new pier or at Inishbofin Bike Hire in Lower Middle Quarter (10 min walk from the pier). There are several cycle routes to take on the island. The main roads of the island are surfaced and easy to cycle on.
