The most popular place to camp in Joshua Tree - Joshua Tree Lake RV & Campground is located at the southern edge of the Mojave Desert - offering panoramic views of the North face of Joshua Tree National Park, exceptional desert vistas, and spectacular night skies.

Joshua Tree Lake RV and Campground is located on Sunfair Road, off of Highway / State Route 62 ( aka Twentynine Palms Highway) Take Sunfair Road north from Highway 62 for 5.2 miles.

All RV rates are based on 2 persons, fees for extra persons will be added to your reservation when you book or at check-in. Pets will be added and paid for at check-in if not added to your reservation at the time of booking.

Things to do while camping in Joshua Tree: Local Excursions and Attractions - One Hour or Less

Tent and RV Dry (boondock) campers are welcome to stay for a maximum of 4 nights per month. RVs with hookups can register for long-term stays with us. For information/rates about staying longer than 6 days in an RV site with hookups, please email us at [email protected].

We do not allow persons (Tent camping, RV-ing, or Fishing) to be dropped off at our location, you must have an operational motor vehicle to transport you off our property in case of an emergency, no exceptions.

No tent camping / EV camping in the RV sites and no staking. All non-camping visitors must register in the office and pay a day-use fee. Car tags are issued to all guests. Visitor hours are from 8:30 AM to 8 PM. Guests onsite after 8 PM will be expected to pay Camping fees. ALL RVs MUST BE OPERATIONAL.
