2016年10月9日 · Rufus will not make your USB bootable for Kali Linux(if your laptop is in UEFI mode) as Kali Linux directly does not support UEFI install. If you want to continue using Rufus you will have to make EFI/BOOT folder and put BOOTx64.EFI and grubx64.efi after writing your USB. But here you will have to manually install Kali Linux from GRUB terminal.

2020年1月9日 · hi i am facing a problem when I am trying to install kali linux 2019 on my laptop. The laptop is Lenovo Ideapad 330s. The Option choose Legacy as my primary option is grayed out or locked. I am trying to install via USB since the laptop doesnt have any disc drive. The USB is detected by the BIOS and I have choosen it as primary boot option.

2022年8月29日 · First of, can you boot from a live USB and actually run your laptop; If you want to run 'Only Kali' on the laptop you will probably need to use a live Linux distro (Any will work), and completely wipe the 'hard drive storage', I suspect that your EFI section still has remnants of the old set up on it and its causing problems upon reboot.
